Resolution Issues on External Monitor

I mainly use parallels to run Ubuntu 18 on an external monitor. The monitor is 4K and I have have no major issues with it until today. I came in today and the screen was not running parallels at the right resolution in either full screen or non full screen. The best resolution I can get is 2560x1440 and it looks like crap. I have tried everything seem on different posts.....change display options on mac, on linux host, reinstall parallel tools. Nothing has worked.

Hi @FredS7 , Please let us know your Parallels Desktop, Mac OS and linux ubuntu version.
 
OSX 10.14.3
15' Mac Book Pro 2017
Parallels 14.1.2
Ubuntu 18.04

Now the resolution is ok except in full screen.
