Repeated VM crashing after macOS Sonoma update

As the title says, I have two MacOS VMs that crash repeatedly after I updated the host Mac to MacOS Sonoma. One VM is MacOS Big Sur and the other is also Sonoma. They crash during startup. I was once able to get the Sonoma VM to boot up, but I made the mistake of updating Parallels Tools and now it crashes again.

I"m pretty frustrated at this point as I've invested about 4 hours into getting these VMs up again and I had no luck at all. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

1. Reproduce the issue.
2. Collect a technical report (right-click Parallels icon in Dock > Help > Send technical data > check "Attach screenshots..." > press Send Report) and send the report's 9-digit ID in a reply.
