Registration key problems with 3188?

I am a REGISTERED user of Parallels.

I just upgraded to version 3188 and it is asking for my registration key. When I enter it, it says invalid. I am typing the correct key from my original boxed version and it is typed exactly as written. Any reason why it is getting rejected?

UhOh, do we have to start buying new codes?

This might change my plans... I thought the codes don't expire...
 
Well that's my point....

As far as I know, any code from an original boxed purchase (which I bought
in January of this year) should still be good.

I know Parallels said *eventually* we would have to pay for an upgrade,
but I don't think we have come to that point yet.

I just found it odd that it even asked for my registration as previous BETA
versions did not. I was also surprised that it did not accept my license code
from the boxed version, even though my software was licensed from it.
 
This upgrade is free, and normally it shouldn't ask for activation.

NJRonbo, please send me your activation key via private messages - I'll check it. Also, what is the exact name of the .dmg file you were installing upgrade from?
