Refund request after same-day auto-renewal – Ticket #5803936
Hello Parallels Support,
I am hoping someone from the Parallels team could please take another look at my case, Ticket #5803936.
My subscription was automatically renewed for AU$140 on 19 August 2026. I noticed the charge on the same day and contacted Support immediately to request a refund. I have not used the newly renewed subscription at all.
For many months before the renewal, my use of Parallels had also been extremely limited. I would genuinely appreciate it if the team could review my actual licence/account usage history, as I believe it will reflect how little I have been using the product.
Support has kindly offered me an additional three months as a goodwill gesture, and I do appreciate the offer. However, because I no longer regularly use Parallels, extending the subscription unfortunately does not really help me.
AU$140 is a significant amount of money for me. I am currently working three jobs and also need to cover my rent and everyday living expenses. I work very hard for what I earn, so losing AU$140 on a subscription that I genuinely no longer use is difficult for me.
I understand Parallels’ standard policy on renewal transactions, and I am not disputing that auto-renewal was enabled. I am simply asking for a one-time exception given that I contacted Support on the same day, have not used the renewed term at all, and had barely used Parallels for many months beforehand.
I would be extremely grateful if someone from the Parallels team could review Ticket #5803936 and reconsider a full refund.
Thank you very much for taking the time to read this and consider my situation.
