Reached Activation Limit

Hi. I have received the same 'activation limit' error as another user trying to install Desktop 17 on a new MacBook Pro Silicon. I accidentally replied to that thread, but have posted this separately in the hope it will be seen. I thought I had removed all previous installations from all previous machines, but it seems not. Can someone assist please? I hopefully just need the counter reset if that is possible as this is the only Mac in now needs to be on. Thanks. G
