We are running Parallels Desktop for Mac 7 and Quickbooks Pro Plus 2014. We have the problem of Quickbooks opening and allowing us to login, but after login the window minimizes to a bottom left tab and we cannot access the program. We know the program is running because it will quit and allow us to backup. This is a new problem that happens only on one computer running Parallels. I have tried changing to other "Views" such as Coherence, etc. I was able to fix the problem once by just playing around/restarting, etc but have no luck this time. Thank you
Hi KenWilliams, - Go to VM configure ( http://kb.parallels.com/117287 ) -> Options -> Security -> Enable "Isolate Windows from Mac" - Start the VM, Run sfc /scannow as suggested at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833 - Restart the VM. Thanks, Abdul
Sorry, I found the solution. With a mouse, simply right click the closed minimized folder and click "Close" or "Expand". I tried the right click (Control or Command click) with the laptop but these options did not show up. So it took a phone call to Quickbooks support to point out that with a mouse hooked up to the laptop that right-clicking actually worked. So the question is: How do we right click in Parallels if you are only using a laptop keypad (no mouse). thank you
