Have you found any fix for this already? I have quite the same issue with you.
For now, MarceloL's solution is working well.

I upgraded to parallels 7 and now when I start my computer, it takes forever to boot, and then restarts before it actually works. Don't know why it would be doing this. Should have stayed with 6 and saved the $50 and frustration.
Did you happen to open a support ticket with the issues you faced? Have things been resolved? Would love to hear a follow-up.
Hello all,
Fix for this problem (FileVault reboot required and long OS X boot) will be included in upcoming update.
Unfortunately we are not eligible to share the exact date.
Against systemcrash: You have to disable animations. You can see a screenshot here:

Hi there,
I have spent a day analyzing logs, installing and reinstalling Lion and PD7. I got the same conclusion mentioned above. Parallels is touching kernel extensions at every boot, what makes kextcache to rerun at every shutdown and startup, slowing dow the process. Supposedly, Parallels Team did this to circumvent a bug (#1931) until Apples gets back to them.
