PD9 / Win8.1 VM with Real-time Scanning function anti-virus app(mac side) performance

it seems if the mac side anti-virus app turning on the real-time scanning function,

it will make both mac os and windows vm unusable.

does anyone have a work-around for it?


example app:

Win8.1 VM & Intego Anti-virus app.

any solution?

You should mention that this is related to Intego Anti Virus, other AVs don't have that performance issue in my experience.

other AVs with Real-time scanning has no performance issue or just in general.

Intego Anti-Virus with real-time scanning turned off won't have problem too.

so i suspect it is a problem of real-time scanning,

does other AVs that have real-time scanning turned on has no performance issue?

just Intego? can this be confirmed.

so i could narrow down the problem to Intego anti-virus.
