PD4 & Boot Camp: Unable to connect to hard disk 1

I found this fix independently, and came here to see if others were experiencing the same.

I have PD 4.0 3846. I am running Leopard 10.5.8. Using NTFS-3G (prefpane Version 0.9.8).

The solution is to simply open the NTFS-3G Preferences Panel and click the DISABLE button at the top ("Global options"). Immediately, Parallel boots perfectly.

Would like to see a built-in solution with Parallels itself.

I have independtly discovered this, and came here to see if Parallels itself had implemented a solution.

NTFS-3G is the issue, and disabling it prior to starting Parallels is the solution.

Go to the NTFS-3G Preference Pane. In "Global Options" simply click disable. Your Boot Camp partition should quickly dismount/remount. Now you can start Parallels and all is well.

Parallels Destktop 4.0 3846. Mac OS X 10.5.8. NTFS-3G latest (prefpane 0.9.8).

I'm accessing my drives but get a TON of message that says "The Server 168.146.121.24 may not exist or it is unavailable at this time" What is this and how do I get rid of it?
