This is a problem that I experienced with PD10 running on OS X Mavericks but is now happening to me with PD11 on El Capitan.
Here is how I can replicate the problem:
Have a full screen Windows 7 VM running in full screen in its own desktop to the right of Desktop 1
On Desktop 1, open a PDF in Preview by double clicking on it
Keyboard: Control + Right Arrow to switch over to the Parallels VM
Keyboard: Control + Left Arrow to switch back to Desktop 1
Keyboard: Command + Q to quit Preview (which is still the active application)
Preview quits, but immediately after that, Parallels steals the focus of the Desktop, as if I hit Control + Right Arrow
It doesn't matter if the full screen VM is directly to the right of Desktop 1 or if there is a Desktop 2 in between Desktop 1 and the VM.
It also doesn't seem to matter what application I open. It's done it with Preview, Skype, ClamXAV and others.
Anyone experienced this before?
