Hello friends
honestly bought a macbook to use parallels. one machine for all the OS's I need to use is game changing. One week into my free trial now and i noticed that whether the hardware control panel on parallels is locked or not - parallels will without fail launch using minimum resources after the second or third boot.
I set parallels to use 6 of the 8 cores of my m1 pro and 8 of the 16 gb of RAM and i crank the utilisation slider up to 'max' and then lock it with the padlock on the bottom left but without fail on the second or third boot it will revert back to minimum utilisation. What do I do here? Is this just an issue on the trials or will it always be like this? Re-considering the entire purchase if this isn't just a trial issue to be honest.
thank you guys!
