Parallels Tools Update Hung on 100%

Did you get it resolved. Running into the same thing. Restarted my Mac twice. The Parallels tools install blocks all access to the VM. I hate Parallels updates. They frequently lead to hours of headache. Next time I will listen to my inner voice and wait until I have a day to kill.
 
I have the same issue. I updated Parallels Tools and it just sticks at 100%. I've shut down the VM several times, have tried Stopping it, Restarting it, Rebooting, and it stays stuck. upload_2025-3-7_16-45-56.png
 
I ended up resolving it by going back to a snapshot. I'm not going to update Parallels Tools again. This is the second time I've had issues with it.
 
I am having the same problem! Tried to update the Parallel Tools and now my installation is toast!
I'm fairly new to this - but this is the second time this has happened - but last time I just shut Parallels down and rebooted the Mac.
This time no good!
What can be done? Where I used to be able to send emails to Parallels support I can no longer find.
I do not have a snapshot to go back to - WILL ABSOLUTELY CHANGE THAT for the future

Please collect a technical report while the issue is being reproduced (click the Parallels icon > Help > Send technical data > check "Attach screenshots..." > press Send Report) and send the report's 9-digit ID in reply to this post.
 
PROBLEM SOLVED FOR ME. UPDATE STUCK ON LOOP 100%. GO TO YOUR ACTIONS TAB IN YOUR TOP MENU AND CHOOSE RESET. IT WORKED FOR ME
 
JonY2, you are my savior. Sunk a couple hours trying to get clunky Windows software to work on my Mac (one of only two I have to suffer occasionally), and it kept returning bizarre errors, so someone somewhere recommended to update the Parallel Tools and then I was stuck with the looping there but the Actions Tab > Reset method worked!
