Parallels Tools for Linux still not available in final GA release?

I purchased and upgraded to the final GA release this morning in anticipation to installing Parallels Tool for Linux, only to find that I still cannot select the "Install Parallels Tools..." option in the VM menu. There have been many posts claiming that Tools for Linux will be available in the GA release.... Am I missing something?

any help is greatly appreciated...
 
I may be mistaken, but the posts I;ve seen said that it would be available in the "next major" release, which I took to mean the one after the GA.
