Parallels Slow to Launch

OK.. I just installed Parallels 4.0 Build 3810 on a new MBP 2.93Ghz 4GB RAM 320GB HD (7200rmp)

So this is a new computer with a new install of Parallels takes 45 seconds to see the welcome to parallels splash screen. 45 SECONDS..

When I try to configure or import a VM it still takes 45 Seconds before I can start the VM..

what is the deal?
 
I have installed this on a another 15inch MBP with the same specs except it has a 2.8ghz CPU and it runs fine. seems like it doesn't like the 2.93ghz CPUs.
Can anyone else confirm this?
