Parallels Shared Applications incomplete

Hi Forum,

I am running Parallels 9 with Windows 7 on an iMac with OS Mavericks.

Problem:
Parallels Shared Applications folder is incomplete, i.e. I am not shown all Mac applications when using Win 7, although I have the configuration set for sharing ALL DISKS.
This applies in particular to Open Office for Mac and Word for Mac (no sign of them in the Shared Applications list).

I am able to launch Word for Mac under Windows if I right click on a file on my Win desktop and select "open on Mac" BUT this file is empty (no text at all shown).

Any suggestions?

Hi parallels_tb,

- Isolate Windows from Mac as suggested at http://kb.parallels.com/112942
- (Re)install Parallels Tools as suggested at http://kb.parallels.com/4841
- Uncheck isolate Windows from Mac.
