I use Mint on a laptop so I know all the tweaks and tips to running Linux in a laptop environment.
Has anyone experimented with setting up a laptop Mint environment under Parallels to maximize battery time, reduce SSD wear, etc ?
I would assume that the normal "bare metal" setup tips apply to a VM under Parallels but I am not sure how much Parallels gets in the way.
Does Parallels queue up commits to disk, recognize SSD vs HDD and so on and try to tune for a laptop?
Any help would be appreciated.
