Parallels Desktop Pro on M1 - Windows 10 cannot run WSL / WSL 2

Hi All,
I cannot launch Ubuntu under Windows 10 (WSL) on an M1 with Parallels Desktop Pro 16.5.
I get the following:
Installing, this may take a few minutes...
WslRegisterDistribution failed with error: 0x80370102
Error: 0x80370102 The virtual machine could not be started because a required feature is not installed.
WSL is enabled in Windows Features as is the Virtual Platform. Hyper-V Hypervisor is grayed out and cannot be changed (and is deselected).
I need WSL to be functional on Windows. Help?
