Parallels Desktop has canceled shutdown (logout)

Pretty much the same issue here. I want my VM to suspend when I log out, it almost works. When I try and log out, the Image gets suspended properly and parallels exists, but then I receive the "Parallels Desktop has cancelled logout". If I logout again, it now works.

How do I fix this? I'm trying to make it as easy as possible for my wife to run Quicken - and I don't want her to have to worry about VMs and extra steps she needs to take.

Any help appreciated.
