Parallels Desktop for Mac does not activate with valid key

Hi everyone!

I have tried searching the forums for a solution on this one, but it seems this is a new issue.

I recently erased my Mac and did a fresh macOS Big Sur installation. Parallels was the first thing I wanted to install. When I try to activate the installation, it gives me a message saying that "This key cannot be used to activate Parallels Desktop".

This is funny because I downloaded this version of Parallels Desktop from my account page. I got the license key from under "Legacy Keys" section in my account. The key is valid well into August 2021.

Am I missing something? Any help would be highly appreciated!
