Hi Parallels team,
I am experiencing a reproducible crash with Parallels Desktop on macOS 27 beta.
Environment:
- MacBookPro18,2, Apple Silicon
- macOS 27.0 beta, build 26A5353q
- Parallels Desktop 26.3.3 (57507)
- Windows VM
Issue:
Parallels Desktop works normally in Window mode. However, when the VM enters Full Screen, or when it auto-starts into Full Screen after loading, Parallels Desktop crashes.
Workaround:
Setting Startup View to Window prevents the crash. Full Screen consistently triggers the issue.
Crash details:
- Process: prl_client_app
- Exception Type: EXC_CRASH (SIGABRT)
- Termination Reason: Abort trap: 6
- Crash stack includes:
NSMenuBarPresentationInstance
_setBaroloFullScreenModeUIMode
_setPresentationOptions
This appears to be related to macOS Full Screen / menu bar presentation handling. Could you please confirm whether this is a known macOS 27 beta compatibility issue, and whether a hotfix is planned?
Thank you.
