Parallels Desktop 17.1.7 perpetual license - Windows 11 ARM installation fails on MacBook Pro M5 Pro

I own a perpetual license for Parallels Desktop 17 Standard Edition, currently running version 17.1.7.

I recently purchased a MacBook Pro with the Apple M5 Pro chip and wanted to continue using my licensed version of Parallels Desktop.

Unfortunately, I am unable to install Windows 11 ARM. The installation always fails after the first reboot with the following error:

INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE (Stop Code: 0x7B)

I have already tried the following:

• Installing Windows 11 ARM downloaded automatically by Parallels.
• Installing Microsoft's official Windows 11 ARM image.
• Creating a new virtual machine multiple times.

The result is always the same.

I found the following knowledge base article stating that Parallels Desktop is compatible with Macs featuring the M5 chip. However, it is not clear whether this also applies to Parallels Desktop 17.1.7 or only to the latest version.

Could you please clarify:

1. Is Parallels Desktop 17.1.7 officially supported on Macs with the Apple M5/M5 Pro chip?
2. If not, is this a known compatibility issue?
3. Is there any workaround that allows Windows 11 ARM to be installed successfully?
4. If Parallels Desktop 17 is no longer compatible with current Apple hardware, do you offer a discounted upgrade path for customers who own a perpetual license?

I purchased a perpetual license because I expected to be able to continue using the version I had bought. I understand that new features require newer versions, but I would appreciate clarification regarding compatibility with newer Apple hardware.
