Parallels desktop 10 isn't working after update to macOS Sierra (10.12.5)

first sorry for my english
i have a functional parallels desktop 10 version on a macbook air (2014) and i updated the os system to the last macOS version (from the penultimate version)
Now when i lunch parallel desktop the busy icon or displayed for few second and there is any window displayed
Is there anyway to get parallels desktop functional again

i have found a parallels desktop 10 installation file ( .dmg) from official parallels site
im not familiar with macOS system so i would to know if i launch this installation package will it detect the actual parallels desktop installation and propose to repair it like may software in windows ? or i risk to erase the older installation and his activation.
