Parallels and Mac Big Sur

I have recently downloaded Parallels 16.1 as well as Mac Big Sur and I cannot open Windows in my virtual machine anymore. When I try to I get the following message "To start the virtual machine, please restart your Mac first. It has not been restarted after the Parallels Hypervisor System Extension was allowed". I keep restarting and still get the same message.
 
I had the same issue. Went to the configuration pane for the Windows VM, select "CPU & Memory", select "Advanced Settings", and change the hypervisor to "Apple." My Windows now works. Have been looking to see how to "enable the Parallels Hypervisor System Extension" without success.
 
Received the following from tech support and it worked!!

We request you to follow the instructions which are mentioned below.

Please make a note of "your volume name" by following the steps below.

1. Open Terminal.app and run df -h /:

Note: On my machine, my OS drive volume name is on /dev/disk1s2

2. Take a screenshot/make a note of your volume name.

After taking a screenshot, please follow the mentioned steps below.

1. Boot to macOS Recovery (cmd+R while rebooting/starting).
2. Run Terminal.
3. Enter the command: kmutil trigger-panic-medic --volume-root /Volumes/<YourVolumeName>

replacing <YourVolumeName> with the volume name where Big Sur is installed.

4. Restart your Mac.

3. Enter the command: kmutil trigger-panic-medic --volume-root /Volumes/<YourVolumeName>

replacing <YourVolumeName> with the volume name where Big Sur is installed.

4. Restart your Mac.
