Parallels 15, windows 10 issue connecting to the internet

I'm not sure if an update's just been done, however when I've used Parallels in the last couple of days, it won't connect to the internet.

it's just saying no internet access.

I have tried a couple of the troubleshooters on the forum, such as uninstalling and reinstalling the toolbox, and changing the network adaptor to Intel PRO/1000 MT.

But nothing has worked... any other suggestions?

After a few years away, I bought an upgrade license to parallel desktop 15, but it won't activate: I get this response "An internet connection is required to display the list of available licenses".

When I try to access it as a free trial, it won't allow me: "Please check the internet connection and try again"

Please help.
