Parallel with two user accounts

I have Parallels for Mac 6 set up on my user account. If I sign on as another user Parallels doesn't work.

How do I set it up so that both of us can use it? and are there any licensing issues?

I am running Windows 7 and Outlook 2007
 
Are both accounts set to Administrator? I've tried running Parallels Desktop 6 on a 2nd account that is not administrator but the Parallels Desktop app hangs before starting up. I haven't tried making the 2nd account an Administrator yet.
 
Can't run concurrently...

If you are trying to share a running VM (i.e. already booted under one Mac login) you can't.

If you are just trying to start the VM under another Mac user while the VM is NOT running and are having problems, then it could be an issue of permissions on the VM file (pvs) and/or the virtual drives. Make sure they are in a shared folder and that both users have full rights to them.

Also, if you shut down a running VM and try to start it under another user, I have found that I have to make sure that I shut down the VM *and* quit the parallels client app first before attempting to start the VM under another user ID.

These comments apply to V4 but I bet they apply to V6 as well.
 
PVM permissions?

I tried to open a Parallels (6.0.11992, Mac OS X 10.6.6) .pvm file in a user account _other_ than the one that created it. I get a flash of a window, then back to plain menu bar. Happens when new user is Admin or Standard user. PVM file is located in /Users/Shared.

How do I set permissions _inside_ the PVM file so that it can be opened by any user on the computer (1 user at-a-time, though)? What are the proper permissions?
