Painfully slow and intermittent IE8 Windows 7 connectivity (Parallels 14 pro)

I've successfully installed Windows 7 in Parallels, however, the Windows internet (IE8) is painfully slow (I'm on Fibre connection/home Wifi connected to the mac). It occasionally connects to google but any link thereafter displays 'unable to display website' error message (see enclosed photos).

The virtual drive network setting is on 'shared network'. Would greatly appreciate suggestions for optimizing the internet connection.

Please reinstall Parallels tools. Let me know if that works. How to reinstall Parallels tools

No luck, pages still connect but download incompletely and @ very slow speed

The following Knowledgebase article is on how to set up: Bridge Networking hopefully should fix your issue. I had you reinstall Parallels Tool already because in most cases that is the cause.
