Hello. Is there a way to prevent the VM from creating files and folders that are owned by root? I'm not logged in as root in the MacOS side when I start my Linux VM. Yes, I often run programs as root within the Linux OS but should that really matter? When these programs, such as Transmission, create files or folders in a shared volume they are owned by root.
owner of files created by VM is "system" (root)
