OSX Yosemite Developer Preview 6 Issues

As an FYI, I can't get Parallels 9 (latest version) to start since updating to the latest build of OS X Yosemite Developer Preview 6 (released August 18 2014). You may wish to hold off on upgrading until Parallels is updated to work with this..

Parallels says Problem ID: 15381

Same here, but after manually downloading the update, it worked.

Same deal here... reinstall of latest version doesn't help either

I have two computers with 10.10.Beta6 on it.

On one, parallels was not installed, I installed the latest version of Parallels, and it work.
On the one with Parallels on it, the one it would not start, I installed the update too and it did not work.
I will try to remove parallels files in library and reinstall.

Still not working, I reinstalled

I deleted Parallels 9 and then reinstalled, and I still get the same error. Anyone have any idea when it will be back up and running?

I removed everything Parallels in Both Library including everything I could find in LaunchD, LaunchAgents startupitem, Application Support that related to Parallels and reinstalled but it does not works

Then I realized the other mac had not installed the update yet...

My bad. so it is not working. Sorry

Hi All,

Can you please give us an ETA?? I'm stuck here and waiting for the fix!

Hi,

Thank you for the questions.

As for now I can confirm that the work is going on. Regrettably we can't give any ETA since the issue is complicated. It is in priority.
Thank you for your patience.

Good to read: It is a priority

it seems the previous version 9.0.24229 does work OK
why isn't Parallels withdrawing the latest version ( pull it back) and make 9.0.24229 available on their web site ?

Knowing the typical stance on Yosemite (Beta releases) I just wanted to say THANK YOU for looking into this.

Looks like they are very well aware since Parallels 10 works. Maybe that's a good place to look for the solution to Parallels 9?

I had a live support chat and requested my free upgrade key to version 10. I was told it would be available within 7 business days.

I asked for access to the trial version of 10 until the license key was available. I was told that a trial version of PD10 was not available.

Did some googling later and found this contrary to what I was told by parallels support: http://kb.parallels.com/en/122644

Version 10 now installed as a trial and everything working again with DP6.

I just hope he was not telling me white lies about the upgrade key too.

i upgrade to version 10.0 and now is working fine again.... at least only was one day without using parallels....
