Option to remove Recent tab from Dashboard

As the title says, I believe it would be great to add option, which would allow us to disable/enable the Recent Tab in Dashboard, to keep it clean and perhaps even to minimize the visual space used by the application, because right now, the application uses more visual space than needed usually (Example would be, I have 2 rows of favorited functions., but since the Recent Tab is there, my Toolbox is twice as long). Sometimes, it can clutter and make it harder to work with it.
