nVidia video card problem.

Hi,

I installed the Parallels Workstation 2.1 in Windows XP with Windows 2000 as guest. Finished the guest's installation, it didn't configure video card (nVidia GeForce 4 MX 4000). I've downloaded the latest drivers in nVidia's site but during installation software says that it doesn't have any video adapters compatible with this drivers and aborted the installation.

Anybody can help me to solve this problem?

Virtual machines (Parallels) use virtual hardware to simulate a computer. Your virtual machine is using a virtual, or simulated video card.

If you have not already done so, you need to install Parallels tools and this will provide the best possible video resolutions for you.

Improved graphics support is reported to be a major feature enhancement in the 3.0 release due by the end of the year. However, I have a feeling that the dedicated people at Parallels will provide us with a 2.3, seeing incremental improvements in such things as video and USB between now and then. But that's just a feeling.
