Not able to add TPM to VM

Hello,

I have at least one VM were I'm not able to add a TPM chip to. The VM itself is a few years old. Other (newer) VMs are not having this problem. Any ideas what to do?

VM must use UEFI BIOS. You need to convert it if there is legacy BIOS used.

Hello , please provide the OS your using ? and why you are able to add a TPM chip, please the error message you are getting while adding the TPM chip?
