NixOS Installation & Parallels Tools?

NixOS 19.03 looks really super cool. Maybe from what I'm reading one of the best possible Linux distributions right now due to its atomic update nature and ability to rollback changes. Here's a quick set of install instructions: https://www.addictivetips.com/ubuntu-linux-tips/install-nixos-linux/

Parallels, can you give us some steps to install Parallels Tools properly with both KDE and Gnome?

NixOS and nixpkgs has a prl-tools module to install it on NixOS which is outdate. I try to update its scripts to run in 19.03, but failed with error message "Could not open link to Open Tools Gate: -5" and "Will use dir '/home/myuser/.parallels' for configs backup" for prlshprof.

For second error, it is also failed to create that dir manually with 777 permission.

Does anyone have idea to make it working?
