This keeps happening on multiple Linux installs. Following https://kb.parallels.com/en/124109 I find that after install and reboot that the install cdrom is still running and cannot be ejected. That's because it's still running on the OS on the cdrom.
Now I find that after restart it cannot even find the cdrom, let alone the boot volume files it needs. I cannot change the boot order but it does have the Hard Drive at the top.
What's the missing step to have this become a normal install running off my Mac? I must have the wrong search terms as this has happened on multiple installs. thx, sam
