New beta fails to start a virtual machine

Just wanted to add, on my Mac Book Pro 2,16 17 Inch the same issue exists. Configuration here similar to the posts here.

PS at first the new version was running perfectly. After a restart (and reconnection to my home equipment with a 30 inch monitor) the issue occurred the first time. Restart did not help here either. So looking forward to the fix by Parllels

Downloaded - installed - works just perfect.

Gentoo, winXP running at same time on 2GB 2.16 MacbookPro. Oh -and I forgot to say, my earlier blackberry syncing thing has all gone away also. Great stuff.

the custom build fixes the problem on my configuration (2GB MBP, 10.4.7). Thank you very much!

Thanks for the fix . I have had Parallels 1862 working just fine (with 1GB memory), but after a reboot started getting the "Unable to allocate virtual machine memory!" error. From reading this thread it might be because I started lots of other applications before Parallels, I'm not entirely sure. Anyway, I installed 1862.2, with all the other apps still running, and it worked first time.
