I just setup Windows with Parallels. I plan on using it to control a camera that connects to the computer through Ethernet as the software for it is Windows only software. I have been successfully controlling the camera using Windows in Bootcamp previously but not I cannot get the software to find the camera when I am on Mac OS using Parallels. I have to assume this has something to do with the way parallels changes the way Windows networking works. Typically with Bootcamp I have to setup the Ethernet connection to use a specific IP address (100.100.1.1). Is the Mac OS blocking some networking functions of the Windows OS? Let me know if you need further clarification.
