Hey @IvarH1, nested VT for Windows on Apple silicon is still under development. What exactly do you do with hyper-v VMs? What's your use case?I see support have been added on m3 and above for nested virtualisation for linux. however I don't have the same option for windows VM's. Anyone knows when or if this will be added? It's preventing me from running hyper-v vm's in my windows vm.
Its not so much Hyper-v its being able to run type 2 WSL and use the sandbox in windows 11.Hey @IvarH1, nested VT for Windows on Apple silicon is still under development. What exactly do you do with hyper-v VMs? What's your use case?
WSL 2 and Docker on my main use cases as well. I know I can set up a linux VM, run it at the same time as the windows VM, and use visual studio to connect to it for the windows development, but it's so much more of a pain than just running WSL under windows.Hey @IvarH1, nested VT for Windows on Apple silicon is still under development. Hi @Dmitry Geynisman, sorry to dig up this thread, but a good portion of the Rocket League community (including myself) playing on Parallels on Apple Silicon can no longer start the game online since Epic Games added Easy Anti-Cheat to the game recently. Their anti-cheat requires HVCI enabled which we are unable to enable because that is a Windows feature that requires nested VT in our case.Hey @IvarH1, nested VT for Windows on Apple silicon is still under development.
