Need to get Parallels to its own window??

When I start win8.1 it opens in my imac window. If I go to windows full screen the desktop overlays my imac desktop.
How do i get windows to start in its own window. This was working at one time. I could use 2 finger swipe on magic
mouse to switch between mac desktdop and windows desktop. Need this back!! please help.
 
Hello Stan,
1. Start your Windows virtual machine and Click on view > and Disable the option "Use All Displays in Full Screen" - which will fix this issue.
 
Hi,
Open VM Config > navigate to Options tab > Full Screen > tick "Use OS X Full Screen" checkbox.
now Parallels Desktop should open VM in the new Mission Control Space when switching to Full Screen mode
