Move mouse past Windows 11 window to Mac desktop on other monitor

Set up: Using parallels on new mac Mini with two monitors and WIN 11. When I run WIN 11 it takes over my second monitor. It was really helpful to move my mouse to the other monitor with the mac desktop. Made dragging and dropping files great, as well as averting attention to an email, etc.
I used to be able to do this with my old install of Parallels, XP and my previous mac. But I noticed I have to swipe out of the Win 11 window so that the mac desktop appears on that monitor. Or use command tab to change focus to a mac ap.
I looked at the settings but couldn't find anything. "Mouse pointer sticks at Window edges" is off.

Please help and thanks!

Update. After installing Paralells tools onto WIN 11 image and choosing Don't optimize for games this now works.
