Missing Files from Mac and windows 11 Desktop

I installed parallels with windows 11 on my Mac Studio with Apple M1 Max chip running system 13.1 and both desktop looked the same but the next morning when I woke my Mac up all my desktop files had disappeared. I spoke with support and we did find the files but Parallels has made them invisible. Now parallels support has sent me to Apple support (really). The only thing I can find on line is some how using the terminal app to make the files visible again but not having much luck. Any help would be welcome as Parallels support says it not their issue. Funny files look find before I installed their software. HELP!!!
 
OK, maybe it is a little of a apple thing my files are back but still this didn't happen till I installed the Paralleles software. very strange.
 
OK the invisible files I backed up to external hard drive are still invisible but files on my desktop are showing again when I woke up apple. very strange. Files not showing up on windows 11 desktop now as they where before but I changed the sync to not mirror desktop last night.
 
OK copied files from desktop to hard drive as a back up and restarted everything seems fine. I will update apple system and maybe reinstall parallels and I hope this issue will not happen again.
