I currently have a 13'' MacBook 2020 with 32 GB RAM. I have installed Parallels 19, and Windows 10, as this machine does not seem to meet the requirements for Windows 11.
I also have Office 365 installed, but working with these apps is very cumbersome, as they are very slow. There's sometimes a delay between me typing a key, and the character appearing on screen of half a second, which is really very annoying.
I am therefore considering buying a new MacBook, but I am asking myself what are the minimum requirements. Shall I rather go for a powerful processor, a lot of RAM, or both?
I have no requirements which would justify a super-machine, I don't play computer games, I don't render graphics, I don't edit movies. All I want to do is work efficiently with a browser, MS Office, and a few other simple applications.
