    Hi,

So I am looking at getting a new Mac book pro... currently I have a 2019 intel based MBP16" and run my Parallels Windows 11 VM as I do all my work in Visual Studio 26 developing app for business that all use windows PC on Intel CPUs...

On testing on a Apple Silicon M2 device I am able to run a windows 11 PC with Visual studio and all is fine.. I can't run SQL Server unless it's the latest 2025 release but I can kinda live with that... not great but I can use Azure SQL.

But I have just read that Golden Gate will not support Intel CPUs which is fine as I am able to most things on the M2.. but it also says that it will be dropping Rosetta as well which is how Macs can run x86/intel apps...

So if thats the case how will this impact my Parallels VM on a M2 CPU running Visual studio..... I am very confused.. Will this kill my ability to run visual studio and compile my code on a Golden Gate Mac M5 which targets x86 PCs ....
