Mac Host OS is disconnected from Wifi, when Windows is started in bridged network mode

After installing Parallels, I started windows and everything worked fine, until I wanted to get Microsoft Lync working on my PC. Since the shared mode is giving me an IP in the series of 10.211.*, and this is not accepted as a whitelisted IP within my org, I had to get an IP assigned by our org's DHCP server. So, I setup in bridge mode which then gave an ip address in the accepted series. However, the moment I switched tabs to use the mac, wifi doesn't work.

After searching through various forums I learnt that it works only in shared mode. Is there a way out of this situation?

PS: Since I upgraded to Catalina OS, lync stopped working because its a 32bit app as Catalina doesn't support 32 bit apps. So, I started exploring parallels app to overcome this situation. Now it seems this is also a road block.

thanks for any help here.
