Mac desktop contents show up on Windows XP Pro desktop

I am running the latest version of Parallels Desktop 5 for Mac on my MacBook Pro. Is there a way to change the setup for the program so the desktop contents of my Mac don't show up on my Windows XP Pro desktop?

menu "Virtual Machine" -> Configure -> Options -> shared profile -> uncheck any items you don't want shared.
