I've recently updated parallels to version 17.1. After update all is fine but after parallel tools installation vm can not start login window.
I had a snapshot before parallels tool installation so I've managed to revert back and run my ubuntu VM.
I'm suspect something not compatible with parallels video driver and Xorg server. Maybe OpenGL related.
I've made some trials with ccsm but no luck.
I've managed to start X server ( with command "startx" ) but I couldn't start gnome session
Ubuntu versions 16 and 18 not affected by this issue by the way.
