Kofax PaperPort can't be installed on Windows on ARM

My evaluation of Parallels Desktop was progressing nicely until I attempted to install an important application.

The application is Kofax PaperPort. I have successfully installed on numerous x86 versions of Windows 10 and Windows 11.

It simply will not install on the ARM version of Windows 11. There are several components of PaperPort, and it consistently fails to install the PDF reader.

Without access to this application that is important to me, Parallels is a no go.

Any suggestions?
 
When I contacted Kofax last year about another app (OmniPage Ultimate) they simply said it is not compatible with ARM, so I think you will be out of luck:

I've just asked from our 2nd level team, and they informed us that the OmniPage is not compatible with ARM based systems unfortunately.

Please give us feedback if we can close the ticket.
