Java on Parallels

I am running parallels 8 and windows XP. I am trying to use a website that requires Java, but everytime I try to instal Java it says that the file is corrupt. Java is installed on my Mac.
Does anyone know why this is happening. Previously the website worked fine, I presume that it was using Java.
Please help
