    Built-in iSight (again)

I've followed the instructions in this thread (http://forum.parallels.com/showthread.php?t=12087&highlight=iSight) but still without luck. The driver is installed; the hardware wizard operated. But cannot find the iSight on My Computer in WindowsXP. A little message keeps popping up explaining that the device would work better if connected via faster USB 2.0 port -- but i hardly have control over what port the iSight is connected to, given that it's built in, right?

By the way, I downloaded the driver from www.maconlysource.com/?p=885, as instructed in the same thread, but on that webpage it specifically says "Parallels still does not support the iSight camera." What's one to do??

    Thanks.

    1) Download the latest version of Parallels (currently Build 3188)
    2) Run the Parallels uninstaller included in the latest version
    3) Reboot
    4) Reinstall the latest version of Parallels
    5) Run Parallels
    6) Click Devices > USB > Built-in iSight
    7) Use the iSight drivers you downloaded during the driver install process

Your VM installations and settings will not be removed during the uninstall of Parallels.

Depending on which version of Parallels you are coming from, it would probably be helpful to uninstall Parallels Tools usings Windows Add/Remove Programs function. Then exit the VM. Then follow steps 1 thru 5 above...then install Parallels Tools for 3188 using ACTIONS / INSTALL PARALLELS TOOLS.
Then follow steps 6 and 7 above.
