Is this imac config enough for what I want to do?

I'm looking at the imac 27" 5K's and I want to run..

(1) Windows 10 vm with Visual studio running and maybe SQL server too...
(2) CentOS server VM
(3) Maybe some other full Linux/FreeBSD distro

On top of this, on the mac host I would have
(1) Lots of tabs opened and multiple browsers opened at the same time (Chrome, Chromium, Firefox)
(2) Torrent client going

In addition to that I would probably have another user profile with more browsers (a business/work profile)
Now, I plan on upgrading the memory to 32gb... but, my question is...
Is the 3.2 ghz i5 cpu enough? Would it worth it to upgrade to the i7 4ghz?

i am currently using a MBA with a 1.3 i5 / 4GB RAM. (i'm a windows developer - always running VS and SQL) so yes, you'll be fine.
my main limitation with this setup is one VM at a time. on my previous macs with more RAM i was able to run multiple VMs at once.

Hi, as per the configuration you have mentioned you should not have any issues running the program.
