Is it possible to install Windows 10 alongside Windows 11 in parallels?

I have recently bought an expensive Windows 11 license to install on Parallels but the program I need does not behave as it should in Windows 11. Actually 2 software products I want to use on Windows do not seem to work. Neither "RS MINERVE" nor "R" in my Windows 11 installation can open files (neither from the Mac drive nor from the C drive).
Microsoft warns users that some software might not be working on Windows 11 so I now want to try it on Windows 10 (where both of the software products run without problems on my other laptop). I tried to download Windows 10 but the installation fails. Is it at all possible to install Windows 10 as a virtual machine on Parallels once Windows 11 has been installed?

I'm guessing that you're using an M series Mac if you're having trouble installing Win10. If not, then try using the ISO from the MSFT download page directly and try again.
 
I have a similar issue. I'm trying out Parallels so I can use some specific software that requires Windows. I downloaded Windows 11 on my Macbook Air after installing the Parallels trial. Now I find that the program I wish to use won't install using Windows 11. I believe it can be installed with Windows 10 and I would like to try. So, is it possible to install Windows 10 as a virtual machine on Parallels once Windows 11 has been installed and if so, how?

You may refer to this guide to download and install Windows 10: https://kb.parallels.com/en/123462
However, please note that if you are running Parallels Desktop on an Arm-based Mac (M1/M2), Windows 10 is not compatible to run, but if you have an Intel-based Mac, you will be able to download and install the Windows 10 as well.

For us to further assist you, kindly provide us with the below information:
1. Detailed explanation, with all steps by steps followed, to reproduce the issue.
2. Reproduce issue and create a video recording of the issue following the article https://kb.parallels.com/en/118652 and upload the recorded file via secured file sharing link (provide us with the link)
3. Collect a technical report (right-click Parallels icon in Dock > Help > Send technical data > check "Attach screenshots..." > press Send Report) and provide us with the report's 9-digit ID in reply to this post.
4. Provide us with the installer of the application by uploading it to a file-sharing and provide us with link.
