Installing Applications on External hard Drive?

Hello, I have 2 Questions.

1. I installed Parallels on my Mac. TO save space, i would like to know now: Is it possible to install Windows Applications on my External hard drive via Parallels?

2. Is it possible to install Parallels on my External Hard drive, and booting windows from this one?
I use a HDD External Drive.


I just want to save space.

Hi CharinoD,

You can install Windows Virtual Machine through an external storage device.
Install Parallels Desktop application in your Macintosh HD and install Windows Virtual Machine in an external storage device.
